If you have not already done so, please update your profile to make sure you have a current email address listed and that you are signed up to receive postings for the eGroups in which you are interested. As a member of our Chapter, you will automatically be signed up for the eGroups Delaware Chapter and the DE-MD-DC Division. Don't forget to go in and select how you want to receive emails and make sure to scroll down and click on SAVE to save your settings. Real time or once a day are suggested for at least the DE-MD-DC Division and Delaware/Wilmington, DE eGroups so that you will be informed of any Division or Chapter news. Please see the tutorial for more detailed information. If you need help with any of this, please contact Delores Bridgett.
MEMBER OF EXCELLENCE (MoE)
Several chapter members have already completed their online information and received confirmation from IAAP-HQ that they are now Members of Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity and an accomplishment to be proud of - for you and for the chapter. Many more chapter members have most likely completed the required criteria to attain the MoE status but just have not taken the time to complete the online form. Please take a moment to take care of this critical business. Complete the Member of Excellence Form located on the IAAP web community. Deadline for online submissions is 11:59 pm Central Time on June 30, 2014. Please make sure that you keep a copy of what you submitted and all your back-up information for at least one year in case an audit of your documentation is requested by Headquarters.
This is an accomplishment that you can share with your employer as well - you will be glad you did. If you have any questions regarding the MoE program, please contact our Membership Chairperson, Pat Wilkes.
