TASTEFULLY SIMPLE FUNDRAISER - Message from Gail Jusiewicz.
Hello IAAP Members -
There still is time left to raise money for your chapter. To date, four of you have done a good job getting orders. One person has earned $20 in free products.
The rest of you can do that as well, but you need to put it out there and let people know you are doing this. Let folks know you are doing a fundraiser and they can help and have great food as well!
Remember, if someone wants to place a large order or even a mid-sized one and wants to use a credit card, I take the major ones! American Express, Discover, Visa and Master Card. Also, I typically send an e-mail invoice so no exchanging of card numbers is required. Just mention you are doing a fundraiseer, you will be amazed how many folks will be excited to see a catalog.
Do you use Facebook? I set up a party, just friend me on Facebook and I will set you up as a host you can invite people! The party has a link so people can order online! Those far away can order too and ship directly!

MEMBER OF EXCELLENCE (MoE)
Several chapter members have already completed their online information and received confirmation from IAAP-HQ that they are now Members of Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity and an accomplishment to be proud of - for you and for the chapter. Many more chapter members have most likely completed the required criteria to attain the MoE status but just have not taken the time to complete the online form. Please take a moment to take care of this critical business. Complete the Member of Excellence Form located on the IAAP web community. Deadline for online submissions is 11:59 pm Central Time on June 30, 2014. Please make sure that you keep a copy of what you submitted and all your back-up information for at least one year in case an audit of your documentation is requested by Headquarters.
This is an accomplishment that you can share with your employer as well - you will be glad you did. If you have any questions regarding the MoE program, please contact our Membership Chairperson, Pat Wilkes.

The Action>Direction from the Spring 2014 board of directors meeting is now available.
One of the initiatives of our Strategic Plan 2013-2018 is to move our CAP certification exam and OM specialty exam from paper and pencil testing to computer-based testing.
We are excited to announce that we currently plan to move to computer-based testing in 2015. We can’t share a lot of specifics yet; however, we can say that computer-based testing will be done through a company with secure testing centers and a consistent delivery system, with testing locations throughout North America.
In order to make this a smooth transition, we will not be providing testing for CAP certification or the OM specialty in November 2014. As such, the only test date in 2014 will be the upcoming May exams...
